Say it enough and you might believe it, its just not set out as you would expect so most companies have no desire to retrain their engineers on how to use a foreign panel. It's was an access control system that had intruder added into it. It did have a short lived existence in the US as Alliance but it only sold well in Europe and Australia so it was dropped. What in the menu structure makes you think it's American. Does it say have a great day as you leave service mode? There are many things you can do with it that its competitors can't do.
