Engineer is for programming the setup of the system Master is for programming user codes, changing time etc Standard is for arming disarming etc There may be slight differences but I don't know that panel

apps are very popular i use them on my system but I don't have a texecom but I would imagine it will be fixed

good don't know why any would, it breaks reg, hides issues and should ever be needed

as its one way I'd avoid, there are many pages of it here. one way has many issues the biggest to me is when it detects it sends a burst of signals on the assumption one gets through. If not tough. Bit like firing a few paper planes of when needed. One will arrive most of the time.
