Not sure if there is a tech reason just the way it is. But when i strated tamper returns were positive

Id expect that running on its battery for 20 hours it has gone completly flat and may have damaged it depending on its state to start with. I dont know that panel but lcd looks a bit dim. Id disconnect the battery to start with and meter your power outputs
