Must be to do with the mesh then, as a galaxy will just report the device as an rf fail when flat

Question so when these ricochet devices go flat, why are they jamming? I believe that was my issue and I see it mentioned above a simple point tamper would suffice!

I've just had to UDL our "problem site" again. Its been fine for 6 months.... but just taken a call of Alerts displaying. Radio jam is present and wont clear - every sensor jammed out.. Had a couple of low batteries over the last few days according to log, so presume a faulty device jamming the rest. 50+ ricochet zones. Brilliant. Wireless toss.

Genie is OK but personally don't like the user interface, bit quirky and looks old fashioned/cheap. Also the same with the cms picture quality of the IP stuff is fine mind, juts seemed to get lots of failures on the gunmetal domes for some reason

Id re start it (if you dare) i had had one that kept showing set with General fault, but with no faults present for around 12 months. Power cycle sorted it, but that's if it doesn't crash/not start back up first......

We are about to use dahua for all our IP stuff now. We did use genie, but it's too limited for what we need and we have had quite a few faulty cameras..... Currently have a 64 channel on the bench and impressed, twin LAN, twin hdmi etc. Also like the cms software. Jut need to try it monitored but I'm sure it will be fine

ebay tsnetlcd (well depends how old the TS is, is the panel grey or white?) or to change the lot replace it with a Texecom Premier 24/48. Closest panel you'll get in terms of connections/setup etc

How strange this was bumped I've had another request for some coverts today I'm going to spec ahd for the rest and maybe just use some analogue coverts. The genie machine we use is hybrid so will take ahd analogue and 1 IP It's not ideal but I can't find any HD coverts cams (

Yup I fitted one in a pub! In Rhyl lol! What about an accenta ID?! I fitted two, one is still going. Take 8 zones in iD wiring config, but only use biscuits 1-8

You could run anything through an optima, all sorts of bells hanging off them. I cut my teeth on optima/Accentas

The ultimate could do anything, and could run two lines of iD. The only issue for me was the flakey build quality of the pcb itself. All of our Ultimates have long gone, but as mentioned above still have many K+ nocking about. Any that die or need upgrading go to Texe, either with 60iXD unit, or wireless

we used to fit all the range, logic 4 up to Ultimate. Back in the day the Karizma + was a cracking panel, and we still have lots under maint and comms. Looked after and correctly installed, they were/are very stable. Ultimate, hmmmm not as robust imo.

Anyone use anything that's pir/smoke looking, or one that I can butcher into a spare case? There seems to be a real lack of decent stuff about HIK do a covert, but quite pricey really, as I will need a few Anybody used one??

You did the polling set up all via the keypad and not via laptop I take it? It makes a note of it in the manual
