  1. customer keeps the top, we keep the copy We are in the very early stages of looking at something that gets rid of all this ****. Need some kind of PDA's or something What systems are some of you guys running?
  2. Those prices are super keen even for the enforcer stuff Where you based? they are fitting them for peanuts IMO On a bigger property we would probably fit a galaxy 2 with wireless if it was required. The bell and keypad still have to be wired but it's a better system IMO. We tend to fit enforcer in small audible jobs. Good panel though for what it is IMO
  3. Ive seen 360's on threaded bar before. Ripped em out for elephant catchers. The bars swayed like ****
  4. exactly why we wont, too much of a ball ache if something goes faulty.
  5. flol its a budget panel mate
  6. its a global tamper. also look to check programming. It needs to be set to cc, not fsl. Its In the manual.
  7. I'm with BT. Sometimes its stays the same Ip for about two months or so, then other times, it'll change every other day. There doesnt seem any real reason as to why it so random.
  8. Exactly. Bt will only give you one on a business account, or its something like £10 a month. DDNS is ideal for small domestis
  9. Just checked, it was only mine and a mates that uses one of the removed domains. Ha!
  10. http://yro.slashdot.org/story/14/07/01/0025220/microsoft-takes-down-no-ipcom-domains oh cant even log on!
  11. So what do I need to get something like these running? Currently have a Toa amp with 70/100v output
  12. Might look a bit odd with rocks sticking out if the soffits They are already wired, one on each face unfortunately
  13. for the replies The soffits are all different on each face, so one that could be cut on on one face probably can't on the next I'm getting grief with the usual......too big, industrial looking. I've only ever fitted the classic tannoy type device, just wondering if there was anything nice looking for domestics Its for arc talk back
  14. Such a thing? Ha! We normally use the standard tannoy looking things from TOA and the like, but we've got a customer is not a fan what so ever Any suggestions for a domestic situation? Im trying to tuck them under the eves as much as possible, but now she knows they are there, so now its obviously the end of the world Just want an easy life
  15. We used to fit them, I rate them. Liked the fact the dt and quads look the same.
  16. Nope, good little system, it can do hard wired and wireless side by side, so handy for any future upgrades. We fit them, and have very little issues with them. Nice and solid. Videofied is flavour of the month with a certain member on here..... We also fit it but it's not without it's faults. I'd recommend a nice galaxy, it'll do everything you'll require in a domestic situation
  17. Galaxy for the new stuff Texecom, for old menvier replacement. Handy for the keypads with zones, and iD we have out there. 9651 for hw cheapy domestic Enforcer for wireless cheapy domestic
  18. We had this There's first one was a talk talk branded d link. Worked fine on the LAN, but opened relevant ports, but couldn't get it to work. Tried everything.... Then they got a technicolor talk talk unit. Eventually we got it to work. Proper **** unit. A quick google of port forward with these routers confirmed this!
  19. it can be set up to txt only Its in the manual.
  20. I cant think of one faulty Galaxy we've fitted out the box. And that's with over 6 years of fitting them. At the time we came from Menvier, and with the M series we were taking two panels to site. Had many that wouldn't even boot! Ive re commissioned X1 Agility. I found it gimmicky with all that talking twaddle. Bit cringe worthy imo. It seemed glitchy to me, "wrong code entered" then proceeded to unset..... For what it was doing (bells only) id have rather an Enforcer.
