    60 Ipc

As this is in the design stage ive got a few options as i see, Mielstone type software, two 32 way NVR's (think HIK do a 64ch unit now?) Other than Milestone, is there any other PC based software to consider?

remote enough, not to probably have decent speed for a few years id say (no 3G even)! So we thinking the best way would be as i said above, own line and router for remote viewing? I really dont fancy jabbing it on their office connection as i dont want the mither of any issues it may create as it grows.

1.3's i think we're going for Was hoping to cat 5 each camera back to the switch. There is another outbuilding which we were going to link via fibre. However not sure if the cams would be better in cat 6....

yeah theres a bit to think about here, never had more than 32 IPC on one site before so needs to be planned correctly
  5. So we have a site that will start off with around 30 network cameras but in the next year or two will probably grow, maybe to around 60 As the site is quite remote, they have **** BB, no fibre there. I'm worried about how much bandwidth having all the cameras on his network will eat up. I'm thinking it would be better to wire the cameras as its own network, and potentially have it on its own dedicated line/router as he wants remote access. Sound like a plan? or is there anything else to consider?
  6. Replace it with a pyronix enforcer. The 500r stuff has been obsolete for a good 8 years iirc. I fitted a few back in the day. Enforcer would be the best direct replacement IMO.
  7. Its mainly for licensed premises?
  8. they will drive you mad.... Fine on a desk, **** in real world installation. we've gone to texe with no problems (yet)
  9. You're in expander 2 Expander 1 is addressed zones 9-16 Expander 2 is addressed zones 17-25 Time for an engineer fella, no point just stabbing in the dark
  10. Just bobbed a few digi airs in for the old digis that give us round time issues So far so good
  11. Galaxy are brilliant on SIA 3, not so sold on texe though it could be our ARC, but it doesn't come though as "logical" as a Galaxy imo, and sisnt seem to send as much information, even though SIA 2 and the T was enabled. I'm going to set one up on the bench for a proper play
  12. there is more on pins, mask for instance
  13. I'd be looking t changing maintenance co if they can't come for two weeks, not a good service is it?
  14. Yeah I set them up the same (panel was for a company employee so the Udl part wasn't such a secret on this install) but I did wonder, as obviously don't want to give it the customer what happens when the user wants to add the app to another device later down the line when we are not on site? They will need the log In details?
  15. Yeah I tried both IP I have It's not bigge as it was a test unit that's now fitted fine they just just the smart key app really so are happy with that. Next one I'll get when I have some time I'll look into it more. One thing I'm not sure if was the Udl code, what's the score with regards to our Udl code and one for the apps it can't just use the one can it?
  16. For the push notifications/emails? I had one on a bench a few weeks ago to test
  17. I registered but never got a reply (was a Sunday mind)
  18. Aye but as we hadn't touched anything, why would it ask for the confirm by losing the two virtual slots? Bit strange as the physically adress 2 was still there?
  19. So far so good. They are on trial though Look nice and the pirs / dt look similar which is a bonus
  20. But they will run out. It's a crying shame imo
  21. So that system I fitted glitched whilst on site the other day Got an 88 with 1 wired expander and a 32 ricochet expander address 2. When exiting engineer it lost the two virtual expanders, 3&4 iirc, Had to reprog the lot as another eng by accident pressed (yes) to confirm
