You can restrict fobs to set only, think that was the initial question.
-
Yes but not cleaner lol that's dimension
No its a G2-44 we have loads like this, its in the manual pages 16 & 17 (had to check)
So that's a definitive "no" it can't be done I guess...not with a prox keyfob.
Yes it can be done, we have sites with G2-44 and set only option, may depend on the panel firmware though.

and
8 = MAX Function This option allows users to be assigned a MAX function.
1 = Access Only This attribute allows a user to gain door access by use of a keytag or card in front of a MAX reader.
2 = Unset Only This attribute allows a user to unset the system by use of a keytag or card in front of a MAX reader.
3 = Set and Unset This attribute allows a user to set and unset the system by use of a keytag or card in front of a MAX reader.

Does the g2 have all the access levels?
Yes
This allows the user type to be selected. There are 4 types available to choose from:0 = Cleaner Can only set and unset the system1 = User Can do all day-to-day operation but cannot override fault conditions2 = Manager As per User but can override faults and reset alarms and tampers3 = Master As per Manager but can add, remove and alter user codes. -
He tried three batteries , I say it's the panel , had some where they give either continuous battery mis or mains fail , probably sold on eBay for that
Raise case on eBay asap not as described
So he did in post 5
Dose every DIY (as its in the DIY section) have 3 7ahr batteries laying around ?
Would have expected to see + Batt Miss

battery could be knackered, seen batteries with 12v on meter but current reading less than 1amp, cells had gone low resistance, check battery resistance with meter.

The are classed as Emergency Door Release, nothing to do with fire. As you stated if the door needs to be used in an emergency what do they do.

Doesn't that just disable the buttons and not the tones? Pretty sure the volume controls are still active...
As above, make sure the keypad is set to audible in the keypad menu
-
Should this not be in trade?

Can I ask if anything major would stop you from running with the Flex?
Power supply
-
As above but redcare secure SIA 3 if redcare RS485 is supported on the flex

The Optex beams are grade 3
it needs to have a backtamper on the beam.
-
Then basically they full of it if they ask someone to remove them for no reason
Because they are in to plaster or plasterboard.
Yes, and because people treat them like Gods and fear to challenge them, if you think they are wrong, challenge them.
Always challenge them here, its how you learn.

So is it in the regs ie nsi can say this? Or are they talking a load of staples ?
NSI say suitable fixings, staples are suitable depending on use.
-
I think that would depend on what you are stapling into. Timber, fine but plaster board no.
Correct,
-
Probably asked before but
Nsi are saying it doesn't comply? And it's in there great book somewhere with an explanation?
Last inspection was told they are ideally for cables across entry routes / fire escapes. funny how things change.

So this bit isn't true
Military-grade encryptionLima encrypts all communications between your devices using TLS. Only your devices can decipher them with a unique dedicated key.
