Leaving Guardall values at a device will mean the resistance is 4100 ohm secure and 8200 ohm active, this does not allow for any tolerance of the device or cabling either.

isn't Guardall 8k2 normal and halfs on activation ?

Guardall use EOL 8K2 in parallel. I've changed a few out to Texecom Elite panels and left the EOL's as Guardall values. If you program the panel zones to 4K7/4K7,  it works fine. Jim

    Didnt know that

  3. If unsure dont even attempt it, these are a proper panel and there are loads of things you need to do just to get it working

    3. Setting up the Advisor MASTER control panel

There are several options that must be programmed into the Advisor MASTER control panel before attempting to use TITAN.
    Follow these steps:
    a) When connecting the panel directly via the J18 (on-board RS232 port) or connecting the panel via the ATS1801 computer/printer interface, it is not necessary to set the following menus:

    ·    Menu 29.1 (Enable Remote Up/Download)

    ·    Menu 29.2 (Up/Download if any Area Armed)

    ·    Menu 29.3 (Enable Remote Control)

    ·    Menu 29.4 (Remote Control if any Area Armed)

    b) Every Advisor MASTER control panel has address ‘0’ as the default. When operating in multi panel configurations with 2 or more panels (only applicable with TITAN Security System Software) you have to set the corresponding panel address in the menu 'Computer Address'.
To ensure optimum security, it is advisable to select the following options for menus 29.1 to 29.4:

    ·    Menu 29.1: YES

    ·    Menu 29.2: NO

    ·    Menu 29.3: NO

    ·    Menu 29.4: NO

    c) In Installer programming menu 29 (Computer Connection), note the Security Password for each Advisor MASTER. This needs to be entered in TITAN for each Advisor MASTER to enable connection to that Advisor MASTER. If the Advisor MASTER also has the Security Password Attempts option, make sure this is set to 255.
Once these options are correctly set up, continue with installing TITAN.

  4. The Rf Portal should be flashing but depends on the rate

    0.1 ON / 0.9 OFF Normal communication

    OFF No d.c. supply

1.5 ON / 1.5 OFF RIO has not been configured into system

0.2 ON / 0.2 OFF RIO has lost communication with system

    0.9 ON / 0.1 Very poor communications

If you have access to the programming menu check RF module comms in 61-3

You're using the black Honeywell etched fobs and adding the etched number manually against the user ?

the fobs was added via the touch screen by adding a user then pressing learn card and holding the card to the screens prox.

For Max readers you have to enter the code on the back of the fob manually as GG post above, not by pressing A+1 and presenting to a keypad. Only the thin fobs will work with max readers

I let adata technical use my PC on let me in on many occasions, notably on the last two days of trying. I was told after lots of hours if this doesn't work then it won't work. Unfortunately that was that. I have only been in contact with my suppliers since then. Thats CEF and they are trying to resolve some compensation for the whole Che-bang. I wont be using Adata ever again and I'm going to make it my retirement hobby to make sure people know my story and that of other security companies who are of the same opinion, and thats only in North Wales.

So the Blame lies with CEF, who specified the kit?

Out of interest post the model mumber's of the kit you have

  7. So its a standalone wireless bridge not going on the wifi network, probably some IP settings you have wrong or alignment of the equipment.

An access point to pick up the sites wifi would have been another option but putting in your own link in will be better.
