  1. So does this mean every electronic piece of equipment should have there engineers access unlocked for jp to openly to have? Not talking about what's available in internet So from washing machines to tv's to alarms fire etc etc as long as there is a fee paid everyone should hand over the access to the engineers menus, coolio Should be fee based , and based upon another maintainer asking for it and they bill the customer and pay you?
  2. Yeah but everyone thinks your great eh?
  3. Like Honeywell does the system not at fail set time you can increase or is this a different issue?
  4. I was always found texecom menus weird lol although if you have little experience then it can be done As above quicker to get it programmed and perhaps save the profile somewhere and have another play with it yourself
  5. You know what I mean lol, but thanks for correction , "ignore" wrong word
  6. Pirs on exit route should be exit zones not sure what Texe label that type of zone as though , then they should ignore you on arming until set , or something like that
  7. Virtual doesn't always work

  13. There's to Much kit out there for them to be able to effectively enforce there regs , so everyone doing pretty much what they want these days , unless someone knows who to complain to, no one cares man , ico don't know Jack what's going on in the grand scheme of things....imo
  14. Waste of time , move with the times , it's been in long enough get something up to date , keypad will fail soon enough to
  15. Well the chip only had a certain amount of write cycles so would eventually fail anyway
  16. I would scrap it, time to spend a little on an upgrade , use existing wiring and get something up to date in, will be worth spending the money Although 9651 is a good panel, personally would go for the g2-12 there are many others
  17. Depends on the panel, some of the old ones do this due to no servicing and life span of the nvm which has or may have lost its programming during the powercycle Is it a 9800 or 9600 or newer? Doc probably answer better
  18. I see some couriers have notices saying cctv and audio being recorded for security reasons, all within there area of course , not sure if they do record though
