  1. What?????That's anti mask????? You mean red flashing fast could be the sensor is showing masking , which isn't what you described Fast flash is trouble problem with masking or fault with the Pir and so on Did you just buy this ? You may have damaged it or its faulty
  2. that's why I asked, to work out if you were going to connect a speaker to correct terminals or the sound bomb You can do allot of damage
  3. Sounds like you need to look at hkc , 70zones wired data, wireless on board , 10zones available standard
  4. Have some Polyfila a ready for the room inside if you get it wrong Overhang doesn't matter, above suggested your drilling in the wall one course down 45angle , depends on how your house is made up , some have the inner wall in the way and you have to feel quite far down where the cable is , just shove loads of cable in from outside and if you don't have rods use a metal coat hanger as a hook to poke in from inside the roof to the eaves to find cable
  5. Like Honeywell does the system not at fail set time you can increase or is this a different issue?
  6. If you have no training or experience , unskilled jp will easily get confused , and so would the alarm installer if never gets trained on it either However, if you had some basic quals (basic experience for some , where is he?) Then you would probably work it out easier , although we need a lazy section in this forum where we get all the answers and the work done for us!
  7. I was always found texecom menus weird lol although if you have little experience then it can be done As above quicker to get it programmed and perhaps save the profile somewhere and have another play with it yourself
  8. Adi waiting for a non duck comment! On non existent wireless battery reporting on some panels
  9. You know what I mean lol, but thanks for correction , "ignore" wrong word
  10. Pirs on exit route should be exit zones not sure what Texe label that type of zone as though , then they should ignore you on arming until set , or something like that
  11. On timed set it won't terminate via the pir, as I thought final exit only terminates if no time set
  12. It should work fine, pir problem might occur if it's something like active 8
  13. Basically the old frequencies are more subsebtle to types of interference, hence why better to update , not just alarms mind you , when they shifted the frequencies for what they are used for quite a few things were updated by manufacturers and it just depends on how much of a priority it became for an individual or organisation to follow suit and update
  14. 8core for everything , except where you need more then a "bigger" one ie more cores
  15. When you say picks up the fob , how do you know it's picked up?
  16. You must be old man, I got rid my stuff a a couple of years ago, was all good stuff though
  17. Out of curiosity, did your alarm used to chime? As above its an old panel and its totally incorrect to say that not much will go wrong This is a good time to update it , May work out cheaper as you have cables in place and May work out Give your front door sensors a slap while your at it...... I learnt that from someone here, or get a hole cutter and I explain what to with that later
