  2. All about budget now, I am sure everyone appreciates you may not be able to get something good installed , but you will go in circles I am sure the birds cost a bit and better you save up , do it once so you don't have to mess around Have you got a budget ? £1200?
  3. Smart detectors for smart parrots? Basically forget pirs Beams would do it if you spend enough on the system , but if you looking to spend a nifty to get it all sorted then , better sleep with Parrott's
  4. You need different type of detection , shocks maybe an option , but could give fa aswell if the tin vibrates , any traffic passing nearby ? Perhaps others here can give you other methods , wire?electric fence ? I would also get a temperature alarm , doesn't it get to hot in there for the birds?
  5. Does is have a bs section for menu , tag on entry , restricted in entry , and all the compliance stuff Many panels have it so be surprised if that doesn't I have no idea about those panels , perhaps all the older versions were not set as default restricted in entry but new ones all seemed to be default tag on entry , atleast the Honeywell and Hkc panels are , I think lol Ah that's what I like less house bashing terminology lol more pro
  6. Yeah we might get away with that lol Assuming that's ptz cable he's holding it clearly says 24v would be odd to leave of the zero for 240 lol
  7. Seems like the way to go, buy a multimeter and measure the tx output , and maybe curiosity if you know how to use multimeter see if ptz is drawing any current at all Model of ptz might be helpful?
  8. Yep I still trying to get the 10% sorted
  9. I see a Yale system connected to socket sitting on front bay window shelf
  10. How far is keypad to main box? And what comes inbetween?
  11. Not bad for a diyer though lol, most Yale alarm i see , sit around with a fault or they never get it work let alone on the app,
  12. Oh there it is , think I had to much curry , better stick to cod n chips
  13. Never mind , had to read something for a change , i see it's a hikvision option , will look at others
  14. That don't make sense , you mean you have entered walk test and that's what picked you at keypad Must be getting old , I am sure in my earlier house bashing days that was walk test procedure , so better you look at log dude and find out why it's going off
  15. He could get a wall chaser and chase it in outside , you thought about this already haven't you?
  16. Can you not scroll through the "log" to see what activates at night? Or perhaps system battery Or as you say zone fault
  17. Small jobs at low cost lashed in by many "insurance approved" companies I reckon he would have got away with it there was supposed conduit going up and lash the rest Maybe it's diy favour and customer said just out it in like that they don't care
  18. No need to delete lol No smoke alarms because of house alarm.... Why would you want an engineer to fix it? Because you can't fix it? No one mentioned if you can "afford it" millionaires do the same, I said it's about paying As above you said it not me "if it's a simple fix why would I want an engineer to fix it" , was it a sparky you called to fix and said might be keypad or neighbour? Because you thought it was simple fix you called someone Anyhow don't take it all to seriously , like you said "you have no idea" Your definitely at the stage you need to call a professional or very competent person , I am often told that lol
