  3. Yeah, I've seen that on their site, I was hoping someone had managed to reset it themselves. Never mind, I've emailed them and follow up with a call first thing. I have an IT guy that might be able to run brute force as its only 8 characters max with unlimited attempts. Thanks anyway, J
  4. Hi, I have a customer who has forgotten the password they were given at install and now can't get hold of the original installation company (typical). Does anybody know of a way to reset the machine back to factory default? Preferably without clearing the HDD. I know how to do other machines by shorting onboard jumpers but this isn't a machine I'm familiar with. xVision XHD 4channel XHR1080D4 Willing to pay if necessary. Cheers, J
  5. I'm now lost ha ha I have the app working as in, I can set and unset the system. I've registered mobile devices within the notification section of the app. One question that might solve it is: what do I do with the account number and destination IP? 152.xxx.xxx.xxx:10000
  6. Ah right. I've installed a view as spot monitors just for the door camera. I'm wanting to source a recommended HDMI 7 or 9 inch screen for future installs. Triggering of a specific channel to the HDMI screen upon the pressings of a doorbell or tripping of a GJD maybe.It would need to auto switch on like the composite ones I've used previously.

  9. Hi all, I'm using a Dimension 48 with GX Remote but for some reason I can't seem to get any notifications through... I'm quite clued up on these panels so I'm hoping I've overlooked something simple? The app works great to set unset etc, just expected it to at least, by default, alert on intruder!?   10. We've always had a dyn account that we supply to our customers free upon install but charge for call outs when they change their ISP or they default their router. For the price of the dns it's a no brainier.
  11. I've had some crazy requests in my time but this one sounds mental! You could maybe try pip depending on the tv but obviously one would have to be via bnc output, and it'll only be a small box in the corner of the screen. other option could be to use the ivms software, again depending on the tv (android etc) and whether or not they're on your network? All streams could then be added to one screen...
