  1. Any bell box will work , unless you have some kind of wireless system , I assume cable is still there You just need to open panel if you have correct codes look at bell connections and match upto new bell

  7. Yes, the selfmon keypad is much better than the Honeywell version if all you need is a remote keypad
  8. Hardcore bench Hardcore supernova
  9. Any programmable output it would seem that switches from positive to negative , and other leg of relay to positive
  10. Ah ok swb I got confused with what James said , thanks
  11. What you mean handle current ? On the texes don't they have something that can switch a relay as standard ?
  12. Are you still using that cat5 type cable? Reading the other thread , I assume no issue of software versions? Oddly enough I have a job to goto where someone has trouble adding on a rio, all new apparently but they say the panel won't add the Rio in the first place I just wonder did you add and remove the Rio and it's an old message ,aybe do a 17 restart and might clear it Dudes what can be measured on the data line and can it be scoped to look for anything , just a thought
  13. Contacts need redesigning lol , but then again they still haven't found a buyer so who knows
  14. Do you know physical which one , test the cables from the panel to the Rio , then Rio to Rio , resistance and power checks would good Also look at the flash rate on the Rio one will show that it's communicating , Honeywell's idea of it timing on a chart is stupid so you will have to figure that one Galaxy expert will be here soon hopefully
  15. Can we have a blaggers lounge?
  16. You do realise when you port forward you have to create the rule and then apply the rule to the device , sometimes restarting the devices helps, and assign to Mac address and so on
  17. House bashing is my name blagging is the game But pictures would help
  18. Assuming spur is short distance from panel then they may have damaged cable coming out of the spur to panel Picture of spur? Panel? Internal of panel?
  19. So local engineer will be a third of that cost in some cases
  20. So basically it's out of contract has engineer reset , either you will find a way to fix it, or call an engineer or have a new alarm installed It's still a case of weighing up cost of what your protecting against what it costs to fix alarm
  21. Reminds me of the reset thing in the mdt range , customer goes in menu resets and doesn't realise it's defaulting, engineer code accessed of course
