    Still Rule 1 - 1 Resistor is the tamper value, 1 resistor is the alarm Having 2 alarm values in the circuit won't work Basic Electronics - 2 x 4k7 resistors will make a near a dam it 2k2 resistor

    Rule 1 - if you use the wrong value resistors your circuit won't work

    a yale / cisa latch (you will need to fit the lock cylinder if its he only entrance) or a surface solenoid bolt is what I probably look to do.

    but there's always a trap, doors appear to be made to no recognised standard, apart for the option of a kitemarked euro cylinder ? sort of thing often found on a porta unit... your mag lock will reduce the head of the door & should be in transom if you've not purchased the door & frame, an alloy door with a sash lock & deadlock factory fitted would be my preference

    I would have purchased a door with locking system built into it ? Steel door sets are normally a fire doors, or is you premises nr the local crack den ?
