Hi there. Just been given a Abacus 72 system. Does anyone know where I can get hold of an Installation Guide and a user guide for the system?

pervious owners have very kindly lost all documents for the alarm. it doesnt appear to be programmed either (i can walk past all PIRs without anything happening, and the front and back door contacts sound the alarm immediatly). have got the installation instructions from the newer alarm but they dont seem to work if anyone has the programming codes for this, could you email them *****************@****.**.** AT THE TOP OF THE PAGE IT SAYS : "We do not give out Alarm Engineer/Installer manuals, to avoid offence please do not ask us to supply them"

hi guys stab in the dark here but i will be having a garage built in the future and for a few reasons such as ripping up patio or flying wires i am interested as to whether there is any way of adding a wireless pir/contact to a galaxy 16 plus system i have , i would just like to keep things as neat as possible providing its not too expensive, thanks.

Is anyone familiar with or (better still) have installation manual or advice for a large dome PTZ from Video Controls Ltd ? The model number appears to be VC17S-12AFP Any advice would be appreciated Thanks, Gavin

Hi everyone - I have just bought a new house that has installed a Gardtec 500 series alarm. The lady i bought the house off did not know the alarm code as it was installed when the house was built (1995). Can anyone tell me how to either reset the alarm so that i can enter a new number or how i can find out the model number and who to contact in order to? (I dont know much about alarms and figure if i take the front off the keypad the alarm will go off??). As anyone who has ever bought a house will know - i dont really want to have to spend anymore money on getting an engineer out who will probably tell me i need an upgraded model!! Any help would be gratefully apreciated…

Does any one have a Chubb Sentinel III manual. My system has lost power and I need the CHUBB Master Service code to reset the system. Thanks.

I have just moved house and have a Paragon Plus Alarm Panel installed. Unfortunately the house was left empty for a while and the alarm powered down. When it was re powered it has reverted to what I would imagine is the factory settings. I guessed the code as 1234 and am unable to do any more with it. I was hoping to find the manufactures internet site and ask them for a manual. Would someone be able to point me direction of some assistance obtaining a manual?

Hi, I have an Aritech CD34 (came with the house including CD 3008 LCD panel and RD 6201 dialler) that I want to maintain myself. Previously it was maintained by a security company so I probably need to put the equipment back to its default settings before being able to configure it. I will not make use of the dialler so I also need to know how to disable it (or let it dial my mobile number). Can anyone provide the information I need? Thanks.

I have just managed to get a galaxy 18 panel installed and now want to use it to talk to my home automation system eg to automate light when detector detects a move etc. I know this can be done with via the rs232 interface (from the bits&bytes home automation website, who recommend a galaxy panel for this...). i was asked to look at a veritas 8 compact alarm for someone who had some work done on her house, which meant the alarm on the front of her house had to be removed and disconnected. upon replacing this the builders couldnt get the alarm to stop going off and so removed a chip from inside the siron to cut power. ive been up to have a look at it but with no instructions didnt get very far, all i can say is as soon as this chip is replaced the alarm sounds even though the keypad hasnt been set can anyone help me with this is there a master reset code you have to put in or could the builders have wired the alarm up incorrectly

My neighbours got one of these panels and I need to power it down and reprogram it because they dont have any user codes for it. I've never heard of these panels. It was put in by Swift so I dont know if its a rebranded panel or something. The keypad looks a bit like a challager/Accenta but the buttons are different so I'm not 100%. Obviously I dont want to start mnessing about with it until I know for sure what it is! PS theres no model number on the keypad and no clues on the case!

Does anybody know who makes this system and where I can obtain an installation manual?
