Not too sure of the model numbers, but this is from the Symphony 234....

This is all the info we can give you from the manual. If you have lost the original code you will need an engineer.

(looks like they assumed all their customers would be male)

Nope. One thing we don't do here is give out engineering information willy nilly to people who we know nothing about, hence the seperate groups of 'public' and 'trade'. If you are in the trade you are welcome to apply for trade membership but if you are an end user then we can't give you anything more than you've already received.

Loads of them can, but that's what they do for a living, so they will (not unreasonably) expect to charge for it. If you're in the trade you can join the trade section and get access to manuals, etc. that are restricted by the manufacturers.

There's loads of free advice here from people who really do know the alarm business well, but they won't tell you in full detail how to do their job - would you? ;)
