Hi, I am new to this forum so thought I will introduce myself. I have been in the industry for 28 years and currently working for Chubb Security.

To be totally honest, I've joined the community hoping to find Titan v2 sw... Hi from a new member in the process of setting up a new business. I've spent some time reading a lot of the information on the forum and there's clearly a lot of good info here! Hoping to tap into that as we get up and running. One of the main queries I'm trying to work through at the moment is on system design i.e. should we cover every door and window downstairs with contacts, where should PIRs be placed etc. I've read 50131-7:2010 and BS8243 but wondered if there are any good online resources that discuss optimal system design with floor plan examples etc? Hi All, I stumbled across this forum whilst searching for established UK security/ CCTV installers on Google. I’ve spent several days going through some of the threads and it’s clear that there is a wealth of experience here. Having signed up today, I thought I’d say hello, and also ask your advice please. Seeing as there's an 'Introduce Yourself' section, I thought I'd do just that. I signed up after finding this forum on good old Google after looking for some legacy kit information and realised, this will be a LOT of help to me in the future. Often fitting Paxton, Genetec, HikVision, Texecom (etc.) and this place seems to fit the bill for others doing the same. Anyway, hopefully I can learn and share like the rest of you. Hi Just joined but have been an Engineer for 20 years. I have worked at Romec, GBE,Trinity and Global Fire and Security. I also did a spell self employed. Not sure how i apply for Engineer status so if someone can advise on how to do this. It will be much appreciated. Thanks for having me Bill

Hello, I’m new to the site, installed my Agility system about 4 or 5 years ago and just recently got broken into, anti snap locks now fitted!!! i have just added the gsm module so I can be texted when the alarm goes off but i can’t find where I set which number it should call (my number), it’s all working as I can text the sim and set/unset the alarm but that’s not really why I got it. I have a feeling it under the follow me menu but when I try going into the menu it displays “Not Available”, anyone got any suggestions before I contact Risco tech help and make myself look a fool?

Does anyone know what a kerry spring is and how to make one?
