I would also be looking to see if I can come out of one of the first floor rooms that back on to the flat roof, and tube around the inside

I imagine if someone did it on cost, cable ties down the drain pipe lash it across the flat roof but you did say you came here for professional advice.

That's why server rooms are air conditioned. As 6 says treat it like a server and keep as cool as you can
