the famous wifi that just about reaches the edge of the room, I have literally no idea why it is so bad, and known to be that bad, and not addressed in some way.

 

as soon as I see one it's 'wired only' from me, even then it has it's moments as you can see :)

So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands

    Were they UK based way back as Microtech, or always US?

     

    I've always thought they were a very US type product but having seen the early stuff not so sure (loudpspeakers as sounders etc...)

    So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands

     

    Wasn't microtech UK, the birth of the galaxy was The Executive 1000 or something like that. Also seam to remember it was something to do with Lander Alarms

    Yes, I have a ubiquity unifi access point for WiFi, virgin routers are awful.
