Pyronix kit does not have ability to run wired bell/sounder. Is this correct ?

What else (of reasonable quality) can be used with wired bell facility ?

Thank you.

P.S. Ardrossan does not do much for me. Ayr is good though.

Pyronix kit can run a wired or wireless external bell.

If you mean the enforcer , it has an output board and it's labelled kind of different on how to use it and what you can do with it

Throws all the diyers into paying for bell part to be installed by engineer these parts

They won't......

Good reason to get a professional system with monitoring then?

Just feel wired is better.......Age thing ??????????

I prefer wired.

Don't care about budget. No prob planning. Just feel as good a deterrent as full system, though more than happy to fit, or have fitted, full system.

I don't agree, your looking from an external deterrent. If they get in an alarm would normally stop them hanging around. A pretty light wouldn't.

When you retire, things you hated in the past become very tolerable,......believe it or not, cutting the grass.

If we do nothing, we stagnate, hence the reason I would like to fit myself, though my knowledge of alarms stopped 35 years ago. Learning is good.

I have nothing against that, you take on the risk if it doesn't work correctly. Like any DIY.

Personally I'd have someone fit it, after the warranty up you can fiddle with to your hearts content

And would I be entitled to relevant codes from installer ???????

Yes if you sign a disclaimer for liability purposes.

Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.
