September 19, 201312 yr comment_345815 I seem to remember doing this before and it took 5 mins max. As Cubit says, start small and get bigger.. September 19, 201312 yr comment_345818 Yeah if it worked on a cigarette vending machine should be fine on a cheapo barrel lock? The machine was 1950s and bought at an antique fair I hasten to add! But very strong locks. So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/35335-lockable-cctv-box/page/2/#findComment-345818 Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
 September 19, 201312 yr comment_345897 Had one last week, lost keys. Just prise it open with a flat bladed screwdriver, it's so easy it makes you wonder why you bother with the lock. It just bends the arm on the back of the lock so you can just use some players to remove the lock when your done. Some are useless and can be easily opened with a screwdriver. September 19, 201312 yr comment_345900 Its only a standard tubular lock, On the rare occasion our customers lose keys, I just pick the tube. Its either a 5 or 7 pin what will be fitted, My Southern tubular pick will open one in less than a minute, I hate drilling out. November 3, 201312 yr Author comment_352981 http://sentrysecurity.co.uk/images/lock.jpg Thanks for the info, we had the lock out in under 2 minutes. Picture added in case it helps others.
