Gsd Grade 3 Wireless Alarms

Featured Replies

Yes G3 iwise DT's if fitted correctly (bt etc) would indeed exceed Grade 3 and Acpo requirements.

1) Shunt lock on the entry door and trying to make a confirm on forced door, but non compliant.?

2) concerned 1 might be  defeated by external magnet on g2 system

3) Used to be double doors and the engineer tasked to refit to a single door was useless

4) thinks it will confirm on entry.

Both programmed as intruder or both on the intruder alarm.

1. No shunt lock on door, just a knackered old maglock linked directly to access control

2. Big fck off metal door and door frame.

3.Only ever been a single door.

4. That was my thinking/suspicion, but then again this is the final exit door.

Don't have access to intruder so can't say how programmed.

Just found it  odd because when we've come across 2 contacts the intruder one is always labelled (with this customer) and the other is obviously access con. Unfortunately not in this case.

One for each group?

On a galaxy you can program one contact to multiple groups?

Is one progd final and the other exit

Dangerous depending which one the panel responded to first.

What would be the point? I'm struggling to see what they have gained by doing it. If they were intruder I'd get it, but not fe.

As i say, don't know  as no access to intruder.

Found it all a bit odd. They've had problems on that particular door for many a month.

The intruder eng came out ot reset the tamper and he said he'd never got the door working properly.

None of the cables i was working on went to the Galaxy so whether they'd frigged it to isolate any 'problems' i don't know.

End of the day, their side works??

My side works so alls well.

LOL think Norm knows about Gals.

Doubt it, works for the yellow bell box brigade!

LOL think Norm knows about Gals.

Only joking but as he's in the office, many might think he's lost his engineering shine. Don't forget, step into the office and all that knowledge evaporates.
