arfur mo Posted May 13, 2013 Share Posted May 13, 2013 to get G3 I think they need to be dual-tecs, Ultrasonics and MWD takes to much current. But I wonder why nobody has brought out a bigger battery box, mains or even solar power pack to fit locally to detectors? the advantage of wireless is mainly to get fairly long distances between panel and detector, and detector in best place without the labour costs, be easy enough to hide such power packs behind book cases, in cupboards whatever, just using using short cables.
