I think we have installed 1 g4 as customer wanted like for like. A very good DIY panel, solid and reliable and I would say better built than a Gardtec panel. Can't install as it is g1.

I would replace all the controls and bell. Also buzz out all cables before installation if the wiring is old.

No it isnt mate. but for the money at the low end i like it.

Is it g2 James or not graded? Been that long as I said it was like for like. Low end I agree it is good for the money and reliable.

its not en compliant at all. Something to do with keypad substitition and battery recharge time with a big battery.

Well i think you are giving too much credit there. As with all manufactures it sells well. We sell more accentas than any other panel, mainly with the lcd keypad. Close call then above that between the g2 and the baby prems. But Honeywell are keen in pushing the switch sell on the flex.

not installed them, have dealt with many calls where keyholder manages to accidentally turn on chime, other calls where they could not recover from flat battery, fit new one and usually fine. j

just makes me think a bit more panel current available woukd serve it better? if gardtec were o sell their smaller Euorosec or G480/490 panels to diy market i think they woukd compete, but it is not as easy to program perhaps.

The accenta isn`t too bad really.

 

Not done any small panels like that for yrs. No call really.

Even my customers prefered a M series of a Galaxy G2 to them. Or a Visonic.
