  2. old version used to take you straight to the point where the posts were unread, you have to scroll from the top on this one and find where you left of?
  3. it's never been a stumbling block for me before - if it's ever been discussed, most clients are okay with it on the basis that we are then solely responsible for one of the most important parts of the system. they make sure we have a phone line or LAN for the back up and everything else is down to us.
  4. can I borrow this? we were asked to default an engineer code this week.. on a gardtec 595.. panel was unlocked.... new company couldn't default it.. we lost the maintenance because they were cheaper...

  7. While we are on the subject of RSS, I have version 2.12 or 2.21 (not 100% sure which one) on disc. can this be updated to most recent version once the disc is installed?
  8. There's something very similar for intruder, can't remember the name. We get sent leads every once in a while depending on postcode. Website gives member of public a guide price and then that's passed on to installers. Add £50 on for the lead and pay on acceptance of the job.

  10. Not good. Our troublesome unit is constantly crashing. "Abnormal shutdown" in the log. Majority of the time is linked to a remote playback log in from the customers ipad2 at pretty much exactly the same time. ADI have reported to hik, see where we get.
  11. We had the LED issue. Nothing since updating camera firmware. I was informed it was caused by an apple device remotely accessing the machine for the first time, causing the glitch. When you say die.. Do you mean for good, or crashes and in need of a reboot?
