    The strands along with the core of the yellow wire need to go correctly under the screw also, basic stuff needs a bit of practice. It also looks as though you have nicked the yellow insulation.

    Sensors have been sealed against your 'bugs' for years now, I would be very surprised if that's it . Not a problem these days.

    re Secom and their red lamp, it's NOT a strobe, it operates when a 'confirmed' signal is sent to the ARC

    What weakness? What is RR used for and more important, what else has to be done to get the Reset from the ARC in the first place?

    All very interesting I'm sure, but at least one (or is it two?) important piece of information is missing from all this. It's not been grasped yet.

    high gain aerial im thinking, they have longer leads also if i remember correctly. play with the positioning, higher the better.
