No, engineer code, is mostly on-site alarms and doesn't bring up a menu screen when connected ,unless you know the make perhaps DVR do bring up menu , but again who cares on low end budget bought with not much else on the network Of course the £300 brigade installing in our local businesses will be causing problems , but again you want to pay for rubbish then its what you will get I eat waffles for breakfast I don't actually know what your on about Elec ?
  5. "No offence seriously"But your talking rubbish , generally some stuff is on the web not all codes and many wouldn't know what to do with them anyway, they are simply protecting the ones they install for because nature of people is to mess with there system by not giving out info and of course the teefs who will have ago at something IT guru can makr mistakes to
  6. CG your point is the DVR makes an open way to get to the rest of the network which for some can be disastrous , what about any DVRs being used in data sensitive companies , looks asthough any using hikvision here , what are they like in terms of security
  7. Problem is mass market will raise eyebrows and say oh well I bought it now and the £300 brigade installed it so who cares So then moving onto higher end products is where we want to see this secure
