    As I understand it Matt is doing the graft then passes the request to update those that pass to admin who can access the a/c settings.

    it will succeed or go pop, I suspect the later but assume our tame clamper will make a few quid on the way ? & personally I wouldn't invest money in an alarm co.

    my 1st thought would be ring a competent cctv eng? as a guess either the machine or its external brick type power supply* is shafted. you need to prove what does & does'nt work, eg can you prove the monitor off camera or laptop ? * if thats what it has?
