Hello, any chance someone on here can help me with EUROSEC CP8L? Recently moved into house with this alarm installed which I had the mains turned off for a bit so the alarm started going off. After turning back on the mains the alarm display is showing blocks of black squares. I've tried inputting the arm and disarm code with reset but nothing is happening, the display isn't going back to how it was before. Picture of the display below: Display image

Hi I have a pyronix enforcer alarm in the house, which I haven’t really used upto now, however due to low batteries the alarm is going of loudly during the day and night quite often I got in touch with the person who’s being managing the alarms for the estate and when he checked he said every battery is low including the panel battery and siren battery, he said I’m best replacing the siren all together as they don’t normally last that much longer and I’ve been quoted £250 for this with a service too, does that sound about right? Hi, yesterday a fault developed with the electric circuit that my Pyronix alarm is connected to. My electrician can’t come until Tuesday and I thought this would be fine as it only affects some sockets in a couple of rooms that I can live without until then, and the alarm has a backup battery. Unfortunately, I didn’t consider how long the backup battery would last! D’oh! Today (Saturday) the battery must have run out and the ringer sounded. It went off after about 20 minutes. Hi there, I could do with some assistance regarding an old Scantronic 9450 alarm that we have in our property We had the alarm serviced about a year ago. The engineer said that it would require a new battery before too long - I've not yet got around to replacing it. Typically we are away at the moment and our neighbours have had to go into the property a few times to reset the alarm as it is randomly going off multiple times (without anything apparently setting it off). Hi, I have a 8750 panel and I’m trying to get a RFX16 connected I’ve got it wired in etc but can’t pair a remote even with RFX connected to a battery on the bench. I tried the 2w 4b Eaton telecommand which didn’t work and tried a few other random 868mhz I had around. Does the RFX only work with specific fobs like the 728r or can anyone suggest a universal replacement? thanks

There is a facility to part set a zone and also a facility to group several zones into an "Area" which has to be set up by an engineer. Would anyone be able to tell me how to set up an "AREA" please. Hi. Looking for some info on a Risco Wisdom, as I can't get anywhere with Risco or the original installer. Alarm was installed circa 2008. I went to change the system time after daylight savings this year, and noticed the date was wrong. I tried to change the date, but it would not accept the current date. It's very odd, as it's only 1 day out of sync. Changing the day or month automatically cycles the day of the week. But as soon as I try to enter the year (2024), it shows 3 dashes where the day of the week would be. It's almost as if the system core had a dataset with all the corresponding days of the week up to a certain date, which …

I have installed a Texacom Veritas Compact panel with a Pyronix Databell E. It is a simple system for my outbuildings so I dont need to install to Grade 2 or 3 (which the latest databell will accommodate). So i have ommitted the resisters on the bell activation and also not connected the fault monitoring terminals and associated resisters to link to the tamper circuit. I khave followed the instructions and wired up with the bell cover open to prevent activation, however when i close the cover the siren starts and will not reset. I have checked the tamper circuit for continuity and it is good. all the connections are correct SAB - A.B.C.D.S. Do I still need to install t…

Hello everyone, I need your help! I'm installing a RISCO LightSys plus panel with the wireless module. The house is very large, so I had to use repeaters. However, after finishing the programming of the sensors, there is a download of the "Repeater.BIN" file between the panel and the repeater, and this download always fails, causing the detectors to never stay on the repeater. Does anyone know how to solve this? Thank you.

Hi everyone! Trying to help my dad here. I've installed a Yale SR-330 Smart Home System. But it was partially fried during a thunderstorm. It turns on, but an intermittent beep keeps sounding off when turned on, and the yellow light turns on. I'm not in Uk and there isn't anything from Yale to purchase here in Brazil, much less an older, outdated system. But I'm chasing the Yale SR Smarthub 2.0 Schematics to download, and can't find anything. Can any of you help me on this, please? Thanks, Flavio

I have one zone which has 2 contacts on same zone in 2 sheds I have altered one shed so it has two doors on now so I want 3 contacts i did this and it worked for a couple of days then it kept saying the door was open but it’s not so I went back to 2 contacts for now its Orisec panel

Hi, For a new build, I'm going to be installing a fully wired Texecom Premier Elite as the burglar alarm. Just wondering what people's thoughts are on using it also as a Fire Alarm/Detection system and how to deal with the sounders. It is for a large house (over 200Sqm per floor). My issue is mainly regarding the numerous sounders needed, the installation will have about 10 - 15 smoke detectors to meet the LD2 system required. All Texecoms wired detectors appear to not include a sounder (other than their wireless one). Does anyone have a good solution to this - i.e. know of other wired smoke/Co2/heat detectors which would be suitable f…
