I have an Optima Alarm panel with no other reference that is approximately 12 years old, power was recently lost to it and it has reverted to the customer code and i have been unable to program new code. Have tried using customer programming for Optima xl, Press PROG. Enter code. Press 8. Enter new code. Press RESET. Still no succes can anybody Help. TA

I've moved into an older property and am installing new mains wiring. When I turn off the mains electricity, after a few moments the Rascal Super alarm siren goes off to the annoyance of the (kindly) neighbours. Is there a way of setting the system so that the alarm is not sounded when I turn off the electricity? Also I don't have the installation manual for this alarm system - could some kind soul please forward me one please. Many thanks Bob Staples

I inputted the wrong code on my Veritas alarm system, the Tamper button is now flashing with Zone 5 constantly lit. Everytime I try to reset it doesnt do anything. its just beeps on every key stroke

HI got a problem I was trying to locate some installation documentation for the Scantronic 9200 alaram. I recently had a door frame fitter to the rear of the house and the Joiner took ut the sensor and how does not know which wire goes to whihc terminal in the door frame sensor can some one PLEASE help me Thanks Pete Mann

As with a few other postings I've just read, I too have moved into a new house and, I too have no user manual etc for an 'Optima' Alarm. Unfortunately, I cannot find any identifying info other than Optima. I don't know if its an XM, XL or anything. There's 6 LEDs for Zone (I think they're for zone) LEDs for Power, Attack, Tamper and Day, Then there's a fifteen key, keypad - and that's it. Will the instructions for the others work? - Can I reduce the entry/ exit time? Can I get an installation manual? Does this unit need servicing? I,m taking over a contract for a family friends alarm system I,ve got the user guide it was installed by britshgas Its a DSC panel with an Icon keypad but need a manual for it I tend to deal with the galaxy and the texecom premier and pyronix range but he wants to keep this panel so need to default the engineer code and need the programming guide which I need a engineer manual I know its from the dsc power series please help thanks dave

Dear All, I'm designing a systems for a house and wish to look at extending the use of the Accenta panel that has already been bought for the design. I wish this purchase had not been made as I am finding it extremely difficult getting any satifactory information on the further products. (In fact it's a wonder the company is still in business.) And would rather have gone somewhere else. Hi Im really struggling, Ive just moved house and have no user manual for the alarm. All I have is the security code but i dont know how to setup different zones etc. Can anyone please help Ive tried all over the place to get a manual without success! John

Well moved into a new house a year ago now and have finally ripped the above out and fitted a nice scantronix system. Now i have another problem the whole estate was fitted with these and as the in laws live 3 doors away and there alarm has reverted to defaults i need a manual or to fit a new panel in there house but they are tight (and old). I have never worked on these panels and am struggling to find a manual now if it was a scanny, da, A1, or securicor granley panel or any panel modern alarms had to work on no problem (yes i worked for moderns for a short while as i was desperate young and impetious)
