When I turn off the mains electricity, after a few moments the Rascal Super alarm siren goes off to the annoyance of the (kindly) neighbours. Is there a way of setting the system so that the alarm is not sounded when I turn off the electricity? Also I don't have the installation manual for this alarm system - could some kind soul please forward me one please. Guest dale Posted January 11, 2004 Share Posted January 11, 2004 Hi Bob, The easiest way to stop your alarm going off is put a new battery in it, its likely that the old one will be dead since the system is fairly old, this will keep the system powered up in the event of a power failure. As for the manual, we are not allowed to give members of the public engineer/installation manuals as it may compromise the security of customers systems.
