User Manuals

lo all as you can see this is my first post so hope you can help. Moved into new house with this system installed but have no user/installation manuals, can anyone email me a copy or tell me where i could pick one up. Also as I think there may have been an alarm company that serviced this will they have installed their own service code ie if something goes wrong with the alarm and it says contacted engineer or whatever will the alarm be disabled until a service code is entered. If i cannot find this out, how would I reset the system to default and what would then be the service code if any and what would be the default user code if any. I know the current user code, that…

As this company no longer exist can someone help me in obtaining a user manual for this system as i have just moved into a property without the code for it. alternatively can someone advise me on how i can re-set the system. :mellow:

As a working sparks i recently had to rip out an alarm installation from an office ,i therefore now have a guardtec 840 panel +remote keypad,which i wish to install in my house to replace my old rs panel. I contacted gardiner security for an engineer/programing manual but they sent me a user manual instead. Is there anyone on this forum who could supply me with a copy of an engineer manual for this panel or provide details of how to reprogram the panel. I notice there is reset pin in the middle of the pcb. I would also like to use a printer with this panel,what lead would i need to connect to the panel. Thanks for any help

I moved house and did not get left a user manual for my house alarm. Can someone please help. My alarm has the number 9448 on the front, a keypad on the right hand side of the control box. to the left of the keypad is a vertical row of LED's. As an aside I am also having problems with setting my alarm, when I enter the code the siren inside the box goes off contantly.

i have a 8EP 396 Optima Compact G3 Alarm system but cant seem to understand the engineering information that i have been given. Does anyone have a wiring diagram that i could use? Thanks

Hi, sorry to go over this again but I need the ENGINEERS section of the manual for a SL Compact. I have been sent a customers section (but this is useless if you want to set the entry/exit time delays etc...) Would someone be so kind as to forward me a copy on. Ross

has anyone got a manual for this dialer and does anyone know if you can stop it dailing once you turned off the alarm. My better half has a habit of setting of the alarm and it dials my mobile, I cannot stop it redialing from my mobilke which is driving me up the wall. , Keith

I am in the process of fixing up a house which has a XM6 alarm panel fitted but the last occupier never left the alarm pin code. I have a user manual for a Optima XM and set about resetting the NVM. According to the instructions it goes 1 remove mains supply and open front panel and cause alarm condition 2 disconnect battery - SCB should sound. 3 remove wires from term 9 and 19 4 loop 9 and 19 and reconnect power. 5 the panel will now power up with no alarm condition. EXcept at 2 no external sounder or bell. but at 4 everything went off and even the factory code 0123 didn't work. Question 1 is my manual for a earlier model or have I done something silly.(more…
