Hi people, I'm after an installation manual for a scantronic 9800 (proper technical job not user guide) does anyone know where i can get one??

My gran has moved in to a new house and there are no instructions on how to change the access codes for the Guardtec 500 series alarm system fitted. Can anyone help.

I want to add additional devices (contacts & external siren) to an existing //.National Installer.// Residential/wireless control. Does anyone have a manual or experience with this control. I'm not sure what I can and can't do. my email is hkaber@hotmail.com thanks

I need to get hold of an installation manual for a Scantronic 9448+. I've registered on the cooper web site and received two usernames and passwords but am still not allowed to log in. Contacting Cooper I get no help at all (they don't know why I'm not able to log in and offer me yet another user/pass) This is the first time I've had to deal with this alarm and would like to know what I'm doing (or at least find any funny quirks I may come up against) before I get going. TIA all.

I am looking for the programming manual and user manual for a Acron Avenger PAS 1/WC alarm system. We have a townouse with the system. It was in the townhouse when we moved here and the previous owner did not have the information on the system. If anyone has this information I would greatly appreciate it.

Pals just bought a new gaff with alarm no manuals/codes,written on keypad is c023-203-issue 1.I haven't seen it myself as he's not local and I dont want two trips Any help much appreciated.

Any1 heard of a Brittania 9100 alarm panel, i've had a look around the site but can't seem to see anything. I think Brittania may nave put their own name to someone eles panel. Cheer

Hi guys Just moved into new premises, and have come accross something that can only be described as "out of the arc". I'm lead to believe it's an old Modern Securities "80 series" system. We've been given a user code, but nothing else (they've managed to plumb a Menver RKP in - quite how is gonna require further investigation). I have an Optima XM6 fitted and it is curretnly ringing intermittently - every 30 mins of so. I can usually stop the ringing using the code but since it is currently the middle of the night this is very inconvenient. Detectors are generally always on and otherwise flash intermittently and randomly. Occasionally the keys go dead, but later seem to work again. Battery has not been checked for 3-4 yrs - unfortunately. I would really just like to disable the alarm so that my neighbour might get some sleep. I would be grateful for any help and and suggested source of parts in the Sheffield area. Thanks

As with a few other postings I've just read, I too have moved into a new house and, I too have no user manual etc for an 'Optima' Alarm. Unfortunately, I cannot find any identifying info other than Optima. I don't know if its an XM, XL or anything. There's 6 LEDs for Zone (I think they're for zone) LEDs for Power, Attack, Tamper and Day, Then there's a fifteen key, keypad - and that's it. Will the instructions for the others work? - Can I reduce the entry/ exit time? Can I get an installation manual? Does this unit need servicing? Can I get the lid off the box outside without the alarm sounding? I've downloaded a manual for the XM but it doesn't give me much ap…
