If it operates as it should, it alerts all the neighbours (if they investigate or not). More importantly the burglars will not hang around. I've known customers were before I installed an alarm for them they had burglars spend several days making a mess of the place. Yeah that’s a good point if your on holiday etc does the alarm just keep going non stop Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/46903-alarm-help/page/2/#findComment-525012 Share on other sites
sixwheeledbeast
It will stop due to noise pollution rules but should re-arm itself if programmed correctly. If someone breaks in there probably going to get away with robbing the place still anyway https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/gh/twitter/twemoji@14.0.2/assets/72x72/1f937-200d-2642-fe0f.png The cost of upkeep outweighs the horror of someone rooting through your wifes knicker draw, and finding a dump in your microwave Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/46903-alarm-help/page/2/#findComment-525015 Share on other sites

norman
Easier straight onto a plate and into the microwave, microwavable plate of course. Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool. PeterJames
One of the NHS student nurses accommodation buildings we look after had their microwave stolen several times, they asked us if there was anything we could do to prevent it. Our locksmith fitted a Kensington style lock and it was chained to the wall, the thieves came back couldnt steal it so took a dump on the base plate and and left the microwave running on full power, stunk the kitchen out for days.
