Roger99 Posted July 18, 2019 Share Posted July 18, 2019 I have a Texecom Elite 48, a few years old. it has an old firmware v.2.02 which is a long way behind the current versions. Although it's always worked well I was wondering if it was worth updating the firmware. Can a panel this old be updated to the latest version or is it restricted by the hardware? sixwheeledbeast Posted July 18, 2019 Share Posted July 18, 2019 I have no idea what a Texecom Galaxy is. As for Texecom Elite you should leave it alone unless you need a specific feature. However to answer the question all Elite hardware can be flash updated with the flasher board and Wintex, there are the odd minor feature that are unavailable on older Elite hardware.
