Check for the resistors at the end of the BUS with a meter?

Ok haven't got a meter, I think I will probably get someone who knows about it to fix it.  Won't be as simple as I thought :(

Thanks to al-yeti the issue is now resolved. 

 

We we went through all the troubleshooting over the phone and eventually turned out to be a cable issue.

Damaged data line , has to replace.cable at some point
