Just wondered why in alarm world it always seems to be mainly switched negative no positive

Because it normally starts positive and by the end of a tsi thread it's negative , kind of adds up this

i  was under the impression it was 'kinder' to switch a ov, ie less of a spike so to speak???

cant see what dif it would make on that?
