Can any of you make out what I've actually been done for ?  Letter just states wants to know who was driving car and just gives the date time and road name. Doesn't give actual speed or any photo.  

Because they want to confirm driver then will send out another letter, I wonder if you try and blag it was there another camera further up capturing driver face

The fact that you didnt even see the camera makes it worse IMO, ffs dont tell them that they'le have you for not taking due care as well! Ive been caught by the Gatso when they first came out but I know where all the local ones are now. I have always noticed the mobile ones, but I have not always been speeding when Ive spotted them anyway. I hate the ones on the M25 especially when they are fooking around with the speed limits and there is no reason for it.

Normally I'm aware off all the cameras around me. Can't recall seeing any on that stretch. It's definitely a mobile one as driven on same road today and no fixed ones there.

Wasn't sent recorded just through normal post. If I've been caught fair enough but surely they would tell me and show me photographic evidence 

I personally wouldn't respond to an unsolicited letter that I'd not had to sign for.

 

Oh, and your being pursued for exceeding a 50mph limit.

As norm said your reg plate has been caught going faster than 50 in a 50 limit.

 

if you ingore it they'll resend with a threating letter,  then complete the document, scan or photocopy it then shred it....

I've had one before with photographic evidence but not one like this before
