Best Domestic Alarm W/ Iphone App

Featured Replies

Hi,

Could someone give me there views on the best domestic alarm w/ iPhone APP to set/unset?

At first glance I've been looking at the Agility 3 by RISCO.

Any suggestions...

Texecom or Honeywell Galaxy.

Texecom doesn't encrypt the communication though, so you'd need to use a VPN connection with it.

Yep, takes a while to get used to though, deffo not DIY, assuming OP is trade?

So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands

My customers seem to like The Risco App over the Texecom one as its simple, a lot less messing about.

However my customers prefer the look of the Texecom gear in general to Risco stuff.

There are pros and cons for each, the Risco cloud appears to behaving itself (tempting fate), not all the risco devices are two way at present but many are.

Loving the HKC gear myself, swapped out my Galaxy to fit it in my own home just for the app.  Is it Domestic? Yes  But is it DIY?  No.

A sim card needed for the HKC  as with the Pyronix app or connect straight to the network?
