Accenta Gen 4 And Pyronix Gsmv2

Nothing is fail safe, but professional alarm signalling solutions are engineered to make common points of failure relatively easy to overcome, at relatively low cost, and without intervention.

So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands

Signalling, yes, acting on that signalling isn't quite as technologically advanced though.

Dick if it was the best way then insurance cos and the police would prefer them.

I've seen sites where there is 50v on the Tel line, dial tone etc but can't be used

I'm certainly not saying a GSM dialler is the best way, James, far from it. I'm merely playing devils' advocate by saying no system is without potential flaws.

Hang on we are comparing two different things here.

Signalling and response to signalling are completely different.

A dialler can be equally susceptible to response issues as a monitored path.

As like many threads, SWB, they can go off on a tangent and could be material to start several other threads.

Exactly, the response element will always be the weak link regardless of the signalling. .
