mweetman Posted February 16, 2015 Share Posted February 16, 2015 Hi I have a Scantronic 9100 that has been serviced by a local firm since I moved into my house 14 years ago. The alarm was working fine untill it was last "serviced", but the engineer said that the panel was now broken & needed replacing. I was suspicious of this as the panel was working fine before he arrived. Anyway, I was involved with Scantronic on the design on this panel, so I took a look at it. The unit is stuck in programming mode. I can perform all the programming functions, including walk through & bell tests. However, when I try to exit programming mode with "99 Enter", i get a low beep & "-" is displayed. Hence the unit appears to be stuck in programming mode. As the unit is wired to the line, I don't want to open it up till I understand what is going on. Any hints as to why "99 Enter" wouldn't work? Thanks....
