Redswanny
Hi, could someone please help me. I have recently moved into a house with the concept 6 fitted ( no maual or codes left by the previous owner), following some advice on line I have managed to get power to the main box amd download a basic user sheet, however when I power up I get a costant alarm sound and only the power indicator on the panel, all other buttons respond when pressed i.e. beep but no effect. No other lights show on the panel. thank you in anticipation Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/35911-concept-6/ Share on other sites
sixwheeledbeast
You need to put a valid code in. Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/35911-concept-6/#findComment-362520 Share on other sites
PeterJames
You need to put a valid code in. As above if 0123 doesn't work and you don't know the code you need an engineer, it wouldn't hurt to get it serviced if its been down powered a while Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/35911-concept-6/#findComment-362523 Share on other sites
PSE
The basic manual you have downloaded is what it is, Just 2 pages to it. The default code is on the manual, also the steps to reset it if the user code is lost Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/35911-concept-6/#findComment-362524 Share on other sites
datadiffusion
Google result No. 1 shows you everything you need, indeed. But an engineer will be able to make sense of it, but be warned a very old panel and some may refuse. So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/35911-concept-6/#findComment-362528 Share on other sites
MrHappy
the controls are cira 20yrs old, normally if its powered down when you move into a property there's a reason personally I'd bin them, before binning them I'd prove the wiring attached & bin the detection devices too, if you want to prove the controls put links all the zone & run the rkp off a fly lead & have all the tamper closed. If you think education is difficult, try being stupid!!!! ChrisMurphy
check with your insurer, you may have misunderstood their "requiremets" for the alarm. Often they only recognise alarms worked on by an approved installer (ssaib or nsi) 30 years of experience, ssaib approved family business. We have a very long list of clients that we are very proud chose to use us. We have never bought out any other company or forced anyone to use us. All of our customers are free to leave us whenever they wish, yet very few ever have. This is down to the fact that we always put our best into every job. http://alarmguard.co.uk Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/35911-concept-6/#findComment-363511 Share on other sites
