Arf, you mentioned you have trouble with screen characters fading. This is happening on the touchscreen that i have fitted.

Power the pad down, all okay. But a couple of days later the characters fade again. Backlight still on etc.

Is this what you have been experiencing?

no, this is on the G.595 lcds, apparently a bad batch of displays

I will have to contact them then because I am having this problem on the touchscreen display.

Yes I would be interested to know that also, for when they deny all knowledge of there being an ongoing fault with their keypad displays.

as matt calls it risk'o, but don't use it anymore so cant really comment
