But we dont do either. Callout is the same regardless of day/date. Everyone has to do their time on.

 

But callout rate is low im taking christmas this year

it seems odd id of thought everyones holiday would be the same.

Might be their sales and admin staff consider themselves somewhat precious and deserve the extra hols?

Well i can only speak for us. Everyone gets the same holiday but yes the engineering side looses out as it works during holiday periods. ie bank holidays xmas etc.

I like that answer Ive added it to my list of reasons not to approve holidays, along with "When you do some actual work I will consider letting you have some holiday"
