Weird G2 Key Prox Problem

Featured Replies

Install went fine but now a few months later the user codes don't unset the system on fullset but will on partset.

Same goes for master, manager etc

All key fobs work correctly.

Have tried resetting all codes and a menu 17 reset. Any ideas?

As per Reidy - normally caused by 51.55.3 restricting keypad during entry. If part set isn't using an entry trigger, then the keypad will be enabled.

Well, Reidy was right, can't believe I didn't think to look there.

Thanks for your help guys :'>

Question is, what caused the changes?, was it something you did?, will it happen again?.

Good point and looking back I reckon that the tenants must have used the prox tags all the time before then trying their code and finding it didn't work. So it must have been like that out of the box.

They are like that out the box

Is that recent thing then? I installed 3 G2s about 5-6 years ago (with help from this forum) and don't remember having this problem. Mind you with the memory I have there's probably a post dated 2006 called "Weird keyprox problem Mk1" :P

ETA Hi Oxo :)
