maybe but thats only cos imho due to self certification a lot of panels that are currently G2x wont be G2 for long.

no difference in panel requirements between G2x and G2.

X is a signalling option no difference in requirments so if a panel is G2 then its compliant for police response on a G2 system

yeah but if the RA is low and G1 there is no reason to fit G2. Bit like ra'ing as G2 and fitting G3. Good idea but dearer

g1 to g2, no cost difference as far as i know

g2 to g3, cost does increase

g1/g2 i take it back slightly, you could fit an onboard rkp to save cost, but not increase it.

Contacts - Knights plastic grade 3 surface/flush whatever is required

It might be OTT fitting a £17 DT to replace a faulty £3 PIR but hey our call out rates are ridiculously low (I believe because we don't' fit cheap kit) - one this year so far..

thats the key, return visits for whatever reason not only p1ss off the customers they eat into the %. Although as above takeovers are a different kettle of fish but some only takeover on agreed upgrading.

stopped using quads, I sell up the DT the same way I sell down the wireless **** the non-approved lot near me fit.. makes me a better company all round, better kit , better service etc - I just hope it's true!
