jsb was 1st out & used rafiki heads,

My point is to ask about getting burnt v embracing new tech. Im not daft enough to say that there has never been some bumb ideas but have you, after consideration, ever tried them?

I dont disagree about holding back BTW look at me and Radio. Im sure i will use this new technology one day, until then i dont want to get my fingers burnt LOL.

NO!

That surprised me a bit, the Tx polls the ARC, so the ARC knows the path is ok, but how will the panel know for local warning needs, unless it us 'polled' back by the ARC?

It could monitor network connectivity, but that don't prove the ARC is fully on line and being signalled surely?

Arf, a packet can be a 2 way thing without port forwarding.

for instance do you have port 80 forwarded to your pc? if not how on earth does the data from the webserver make it to your browser???
