  1. I'd say local only stuff will be a future but not yet most people want stuff to work without worrying or thinking about anything else. Once their systems they don't care about show when they are out, not close to home and giving pattens to their movement that will change.
  2. Agree with 6 above. Regarding cams use ones that dont have a cloud etc access. It's amazing that all the Internet reviews only use consumer crap not real pro stuff. I need to start selling anything then add a pro to the name. I'd be cautious of hik and Duhua without limiting it's access tbh. There is a open source firmware project for cams that you can reflash
  3. Don't use texecom but I do use home assistant I'd look at that because you can do mqtt with texecom. I doubt its official but should be from most imo
  4. Also you sure that's tbe right product code. I've had a quick look and it isn't a replacement code looks like a lid code?
  5. Assuming it might be external interferne have you tried excluding that with a masking value? Whats the risk I'm assuming high if grade 3 contact
  6. Yes i Raised it many years ago but there was no demand. To be fair its a bit like restricted keys etc there are ways to do it but they are costly. To me adding a wiegand interface would be be the best option
  7. You need a locked reader etc. Be nive if a manufact gave us reader inputs etc
  8. I'd go with brum due to the 'bulletproof' glass. Either needed or hoped for. I still say it isn't bulletproof Don't need glass break detectors for that I do hope the op and chubb sort it out though hopefully without double knock on any circuit
  9. As above check who is local to you and contact them directly
  10. On the takeover, or bacon sw on the first day It's proper rare, some sell laminated as it but real bullet proof is huge. I did a gkn contract where they made it for hummer windows must of been 75mm thick a weight was as expected. In a shop window I'd say unlikely. But I was wrong once etc
  11. But not behind a 'bulletproof" window with risco detectors done as a diy job Sounds like a setup for a film. No one tries diy on high value goods surely? Remind me risco do the cheapest stuff or the best stuff?
  12. We should do a simplisafe vs verisure review
  13. Is that someone who thought dummy CCTV is like a grade 4 alarm system? But at that angle unless it's near an airport I'd wonder what it's looking at
  14. Sorry we don't give instructions for burglars to disable alarms on a public forum. It isn't as simple as removing a fuse for obvious reasons
  15. Glass break detectors don't usually work on bulletproof glass is it actually bulletproof? Grade 4 signalling is available but grade 4 detection isn't. What are the insurance requirements? I'd suggest shock detectors would be better and quicker than glass break assuming suitable ie not a main road. Also if you have installed it check chubb will do the failure to perform cover.
  16. Also what's the risk you are protecting. You mention grade 3 but it looks like it's DIY or are you the installer?
  17. Not knowing the application 'if' I just wanted to monitor an output oscillating I'd either use 2 trans relays with timers or esp32's However if I was life I wouldn't I'd want an output from the device because if I modified it and something happened I dont think I like prison
  18. Double knock doesn't comply. Windows tend to only break once too. You might be better with window foil. I hate glass break sensors generally but I'd suggest a different glass break detector assuming you have it sited correctly.
  19. An option but not the same as polled dual path signalling. I know selfmon does this just dont want it to look like signal availability is the same as use able path
