I'd say no rad can heat up quick enough I wouldn't worry about it say it. Above yes is an issue. The only force that can defeat the 1.6-2.4 degree a second change is our Sun. Apart from open fires and log burners. Tldr don't worry about radiators
yeah dont use them anymore but when i did, strip in the normal way (leaving some insulation to twist tight) then wrap around a 2.5mm terminal driver, remove screw and washer and push through loop of cable making sure to keep so when it tightens it doesnt loosen the coil.
Bear in mind that switch mode psu add what looks like induced ac.id be interested to see what a new psu does. Mine is knacked cos I've overloaded it lots in testing.
or try removing the ac power (pull fuse) for a bit and see if it continues when on battery only. Also measure your induced ac with the mains off to see the difference between the psu on and off
Not seen it myself but most keypad are set to always on. The close to wake is an rf keypad thing but allows you to have wired and rf kehpads seem similar. I'd say you have a faulty one
Check if another device works next to the sounder. If it does it would suggest a sounder issue.
Also note this system is an old 1 way system and should be upgraded really
As many of you know im writing an engineer app that we use as a test monitor, ip camera tool etc as well as job sheets etc
Just wondering what tools / apps you find the most useful i can consider adding. ie I added flashing of the network port connection to help find the port in racks that has been well used since being added.

Also need to bear in mind some stability. When it comes to detectors they all have to balance catch performance vs false alarms. Napco used to be very stable for example but could miss an elephant. Then an alarmcom ir160 wouldn't miss a knat leaving the elephants back.
I do quite like optex for that balance.
I hate 'pet sensors' cos imo you can't ask a pir to do that reliably
definetly a cable per device. I would also go for 8 core the cost difference is minimal and means you dont have to worry about future equipment changes etc
Not all the same. I wouldnt touch a veritas but they are popular because of cost
Yes or look at panels that offer a web server for config. Vanderbilt (acre) do and i believe eaton do too.
Plus vanderbilt etc have home assistant plugins when you go past messing with your arduino esp32 etc
