  1. I know the ones... On a stalk with a rubber fake cable? The only thing supposedly flushed in, in a cornershop full of crud surface wiring and bodges...
  2. Yeah if you didn't know better you'd say this shop is all real, joe average would. To be honest it suits the store which other than the goods being sold hasn't been touched since it was once a finefare in the 1970s! Fake cameras on their own will always bite you on the **** in the end though, as the kids have proven!
  3. Local small chain budget DIY shop has (presumably) done just that. All of a sudden they have 50 traditional cameras, all clearly (once) real, in a small shop. No doubt some work, but can't believe all of them do. And clearly second hand, yellowed cases etc...
  4. lol, true, I sometimes fit fakes as adjuncts to a real system. but NEVER fit the batteries. Exception being the one on the front bulkhead of my van. i think System Q sell the actual empty housings from theirs for a perfect match?
  5. BS approved Bell transformer is exempt AFAIK, if wired direct to 5A or 6A? Might be making that up
  6. 46 downloads

Installer and Web Browser setup for i-On range
  7. 26 downloads

Engineering Manual for the entire i-On range from Scantronic, 16, 30, 50, 160 with indications of which features are available for each model. Does not cover Menvier variants.
  8. Cheap steel rubbish... http://www.coopersofstortford.co.uk/images/products/large/ST08584i.jpg
  9. Remember kids, if it aint 100% copper it aint allowed to be called Cat anything...
  10. Thats my point - the unit I use forwards all received (i.e. incoming) texts to the no.1 caller on the list!
  11. I have one job on a GSM SMS (its a mobile unit) that forwards all texts recieved to the 1st contact (so that management and billing from the phone co gets seen). Imagine if it started sending ads too! That's the thing isn't it, even O2 or voda wouldn't just cut you off mid sentence and wither way, this lot could...
  12. Just read a review, states the data is ad supported?
  13. @PJ (not Duncan) I'd been using Windows home server for years no problems... Got a dedicated nas, sold the server, and lost the lot within 3 months... #pileofpoo
  14. Dont ditch the discs though, I lost all my DVD iso's as I had so much I couldnt afford to back it up...
  15. If there was a unit that used a fixed domain as an intermediary that would not require setting up in the traditional manner though, wouldn't it, a bit like webway or the Siemens SPC spcanywhere web service? Granted there is no such thing, and if there was who would trust the remote gubbins to still be there in 2 or 3 years time?
  16. Guessing the ones in the middle are ceiling detectors! DT yes but I wouldn't personally put a smoke in the garage either, save it for the hall, a heat or RoR seems more appropriate in the garage. Lounge and Bed PIR is facing a window but if mirrored optics less of an issue. Landing deffo needs one two, otherwise its up the stairs during the EE timer, into any other bed and gone again all before you even get an alarm... As I guess the hallway will be on Access.
  17. But presumably separate action for doing the Part-P work without being a scheme member? Unless all non-domestic I suppose.
  18. I know that, just thought that might be a typical response, nothing more.
  19. 'Our web designers put that in without our knowledge, thank you very much for pointing it out to us' ('bugger... oh well got 12 months out of it.')
