  1. As above, nothing wrong with the enforcer.
  2. Ive got short battery life in in a couple of PIRs, they lasted 6 months, new batteries gone in, ill see how they go.
  3. Ive used risco for years, ive put up with all the issues, although not always major issues, but even the hardcore risco lads have to admit there are issues that should be resolved - or should not have been there in the first place - should beta testing not have sorted out the problems. 2nd paragraph, think they were allowed them up to certain point, but think even thehardcore tex lads have had enough, although i do agree with you, they are not getting slated like risco do. Ive gone castle now mate, wish i had done it long ago. Tex still wins on udl, the only reason i held out so long. Castle udl is like something from the 80's. Ive had a couple of issues with the enforcer, none with euro mini or euro 46. (been fitting the mini for a few years).
  4. You trying to tell me they dont make a margin, bollox, absolute bollox. If their margins were so tight or non existant, they would have fooked off all this EU jump through rings bollox, told them and everyone else to go do one, beacause lets have it about right, the end user has not ended up with that much of a better system. You know that, i know that, eberyone on here knows that, but it has cost the industry millions. Yeah man, i have noticed you waving the risco flag over the last 2 months or so. Risco quite clearly have issues, lots of them - all from experience. I never exagerate issues, just say it how it is. I dont do honeywell at all, got a few galaxy's on service but thats it.
  5. It just seems its never ending, one issue after another from one manufacture to another. Wasted time, pissed off clients, i get well pissed off with it all.
  6. Do other trades/industry's have to put up with this *****?
  7. How come over the last couple of months you have been sticking up for Risco, you didnt use to? Over the years, Risco, by far, have been the worst performing manufacture, no drama queening, just facts. To Angel, ive got a site with a bell no more than 10-15m away from panel, bell lost every few days, will new bell likely resolve this issue? Radio strength on risco does seem poor compared to other makes. Should be zero. Agree with that.
  8. Well jealous, thats what i need to sort out, ive had enough of being on call 24/7. @Richl, no your not, them slides look wicked, my lad would love them.
  9. SWB, stop winding Dom up. Dom, if you lie the detector on your wrist, the pir LED will flash with your pulse.
  10. Dont cover the windows, generally the volumetric detection will do
  11. Its not a sizeable international one.
  12. I've had a silly amount of emails off them. I agree mate, heard it was done to help the overseas visitors, maybe they didnt think of the knock on effect of it cutting down local visitors.
  13. Didnt know aritech done them. AFAIK videofied is only through videcon. Not seen any advertising of visonic gear, but generally their panels look ***** and full of bullsh*t programming that never gets used. I'm sure you know my views on risco tat, the one and only cam/pir kit ive installed. i was thinking more of castle (if we can still call them that, shame really) / texecom. or any other decent firm who gives a sh*t. risco dont.
